Moderate displacement cruising sloop; designed for comfort and safety with cut-a-way forefoot keel. Great for long range cruising or weekends!

This Rafiki 35, made in 1980, is a classic moderate displacement cruising sloop, designed and engineered for maximum comfort and safety, without sacrificing performance! With a V berth, quarter berth convertible settee and a pilot berth there is plenty of area for passengers. The engine was repowered in 1991. Two years ago, the deck core was replaced and the fiberglass was covered with Kiwigrip after the teak deck was removed. The brightwork is currently being worked on.

Some features that are included are a depth sounder, log-speedomeeter, plotter, compass, a Speeil Depth chartplotting GPS and VHF. Additionally, there is a TV set with a DVD player. The cockpit has speakers, and while there is a radio, it is not currently installed.

The sails are a battened mainsail and a furling genoa roller headsail with the rigging having a steering wheel and a spinnaker pole.

There is both an electric and a manual bilge pump. Kitchen facilities include a sink with hot water, a Gimbaled 2 burner stove with an oven, a microwave, and holding plate refridgeration. There are 2 house batteries with a charger and a hookup for shore power.
